Michael Reese is the Renewable Energy Director at the University of Minnesota West Central Research and Outreach Center at Morris. He has participated as Project Manager or Coordinator on several renewable energy research and demonstration projects including large scale wind energy, biomass gasification, renewable hydrogen, and other renewable energy systems. Michael has been an invited speaker for several regional, state, and national conferences on the topic of renewable energy. In addition to renewable energy, he continues to maintain a strong focus in agriculture, rural economic and business development, and community vitality.
Cory Marquart is an engineer with the Renewable Energy Center at the University of Minnesota West Central Research and Outreach Center (WCROC) in Morris, MN. Since 2005 he has been in charge of the daily operation of a utility-scale 1.65 MW wind turbine at the WCROC. He also has been working on the development of the wind to hydrogen to anhydrous ammonia project at WCROC beginning in 2004 as an intern and continuing into full-time employment in May 2005.
He will be assisting in the construction supervision of the Wind to Hydrogen to Ammonia System and will be in charge of daily operations of this system once commissioned (Summer 2009). He is currently training for safe operation and control of the system and data acquisition and processing.
